A Shopify migration with Digitain starts at €2,500 for a simple WooCommerce or Magento shop with up to ~200 products, one language and a standard theme migration. For mid-sized shops (500–5,000 SKUs, multiple languages, ERP or PIM connections, custom checkout logic) the investment ranges between €5,000 and €15,000. That includes: data export and mapping (products, customers, orders, redirects), theme migration or new build, app-stack advice, 301 redirect plan, SEO preservation and go-live support. What's not included by default: paid Shopify apps, custom development outside scope, and ongoing ads/SEO afterwards. You get a fixed price upfront based on a short intake — no hourly invoicing afterwards.
Plan for 4 to 8 weeks for a full migration, depending on complexity. A small shop (Woo → Shopify, 1 language, no ERP) is live in 3–4 weeks. A mid-sized shop with multiple languages, ERP integration (Exact, Afas, Odoo) and a PIM takes 6–8 weeks. The critical path is almost never the theme — it's data cleanup and integrations. We work in phases: week 1 audit + redirect map, week 2–3 data migration and theme, week 4–5 integrations + checkout, week 6 UAT and SEO check, then go-live on a quiet moment. After launch we monitor intensively for 2 weeks on 404s, indexation and checkout conversion.
Yes, marketplaces are one of our core areas. For bol.com we do full onboarding (account setup, EANs, content, categorization), Sponsored Products campaign structure (Heroes/Workhorses/Long-tail), reviews, returns and LVB/FBR advice. For Amazon we work on .nl, .de and wider EU: A+ Content, Brand Registry, Sponsored Ads, listing optimization and FBA strategy. We also work with Mirakl platforms like Galeria, Douglas and MediaMarkt for brands wanting to scale beyond the two big players. This can be a one-off audit (from €499), an onboarding project, or an ongoing marketplace retainer. We use Channable, ChannelEngine and Productsup as feed managers where appropriate.
We do both, but most clients pick us specifically because we implement. Strategy without execution delivers nothing. We build Shopify migrations ourselves. CRO tests we ship live in Shopify or via tooling. Sponsored Products campaigns we manage operationally. Feeds we build and debug in Channable. Where we need external specialists (heavy custom Shopify Plus dev, complex ERP integrations, photography) we bring in our network and stay accountable for the result. So you don't need to source an implementation agency separately. An audit can be a great starting point, but it's never the destination.
Yes. Retainers are the most common engagement model for clients who want to grow structurally. A retainer starts from €1,200/month and goes up to €5,000+/month for scaling brands with multiple channels. Fixed monthly fee, no hourly invoicing, scope agreed upfront (e.g. 1 marketplace + ads management + monthly CRO test + reporting). No notice period, but we recommend a minimum of 3 months to measure real impact. Each quarter we review scope and adjust if your priorities shift. For one-off projects (an audit, a migration, a specific build) we work with fixed project pricing instead of a retainer.
An audit is a one-time deep dive with a fixed price (€99–€900) and a report within 5–10 business days. You get a concrete action plan with priorities, but you execute it yourself (or with your own team). Perfect for a second opinion or to understand a specific bottleneck. A growth partnership is an ongoing collaboration where we execute together: we ship the recommendations, run tests, monitor KPIs and adjust monthly. An audit is a photo, a partnership is a film. Many clients start with a €99–€499 audit to test the collaboration, then move to a retainer once the fit is clear.
We work with e-commerce operators and brands in six profiles: freelancers running their own shop alongside their service, dropshippers moving toward a real brand, e-commerce brands between €10k and €1M+/month, marketplace sellers on bol.com/Amazon/Mirakl, local businesses scaling online, and B2B players opening a D2C channel. Our sweet spot is brands at €30k–€500k/month who want to professionalize without immediately hiring a big agency. Who we're not for: pure marketplace resellers without their own proposition, or brands wanting only tactical execution without strategic input. We're a growth partner, not an extra pair of hands.
Brandy Fontijn is founder and accountable for every engagement — you always get her as your point of contact, never a junior account manager. For specialist work we collaborate with a fixed network of freelance specialists: a Shopify Plus developer, a marketplace ads specialist, a feed manager, a CRO designer and a copywriter. That network is deliberately small and stable: same people, year after year, who know each other's work. You get the agility and ownership of a freelancer with the firepower of a small agency, without the overhead, hand-offs and account managers of a big shop. You always know who does what and why.
For productized audits (fixed price, fixed scope) we start within 24–72 hours of payment. For custom engagements and retainers we book a 30-minute intro first, followed by a proposal with scope, price and timeline within 3 business days. After approval we typically kick off within 1–2 weeks. For Shopify migrations or large builds we plan further ahead (3–4 weeks), because we never run more than 2 large engagements simultaneously — that's how we keep quality and attention high. Rush jobs are sometimes possible at a premium if the planning allows, but we'd rather promise realistically than unrealistically fast.
Honest work or none — that's the principle. For audits: if the report doesn't deliver the value we promised, we run a follow-up session at no extra cost. For retainers: after the first 30 days we jointly evaluate the fit. If it's not there, we end the engagement immediately, no penalties, no notice period. You only pay for work up to that moment. For custom projects like migrations we work in phases with payment milestones, so stopping mid-way is also possible. We'd rather have a short honest collaboration that doesn't fit than a long unhappy one. In practice stopping is rare — but the option is always open.
Yes. We work with clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the wider EU. Our focus is Dutch and European marketplaces (bol.com for NL/BE, Mirakl platforms like Galeria and Douglas for DE/EU, and Amazon on .nl, .de, .fr, .it and .es). For Shopify shops we build multi-language and multi-currency setups, configure VAT-OSS settings and ship local payment methods (iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, SEPA). Communication in Dutch or English. For German content we work with a fixed native copywriter in our network. We don't do US launches or APAC expansion — that requires specialists we deliberately are not.
We sign an NDA on every engagement, even for a simple audit. Access to client systems (Shopify, bol Seller Center, Amazon Seller Central, Google Analytics, ad accounts) is always granted through your own invite with a personal account — never via shared passwords. Access is revoked immediately after handoff. We don't store client data outside the tools where it already lives; reports and analyses sit in a secured project environment. Our full data processing agreement and privacy statement are at /legal/privacy. For clients in regulated sectors (medical, finance) we have an extended security document available on request.
