Frequently asked questions
Am I considered falsely self-employed?+
It depends on three core criteria: authority relationship, personal labour and remuneration. The more you work like an employee (fixed hours, one client, no entrepreneurial risk), the bigger the risk. The Basic checklist gives you a first indication in 30 minutes.
My client has an approved model agreement. Am I safe?+
Not automatically. Practice must match the contract. If you actually work under authority, the Tax Authority can still reclassify the relationship. Paperwork notwithstanding.
What if I only have one big client?+
That's a red flag, not an automatic verdict. We look at how the relationship is built, whether you're commercially autonomous and whether you bear risk. Often it's solvable by adjusting structure and pricing.
Do you also help clients (the hiring side)?+
Yes. Often the cleanest fix is to guide the client. We work from both sides.
