How I work

How I work.

No jargon, no promises I can't keep. Just a clear process, weekly progress, and honesty about what fits and what doesn't.

Start

First, we see if it clicks.

We start with a short 15-30 minute call. I want to understand where you are now, what you're running into, and what you've already tried. No sales pitch, just checking if there's a fit.

In week 1 you get a clear plan: what I'll handle, what you'll handle yourself, and where we need each other. You know exactly where you stand.

No long intake form. Just a few concrete questions about your store, margins and goals, so I can be sharp from day one.

Engagement models

Hourly, retainer or project — depending on what's needed.

Hourly

For standalone analysis, advice or solving a specific issue. You only pay for the time I actually spend.

Retainer

For ongoing guidance and execution. Fixed hours per week or month, so you don't have to negotiate every time.

Project

For a bounded piece of work like a migration, setup or audit with implementation. Clear upfront what gets delivered.

Progress

No surprises, no black box.

Weekly update

A short summary of what I did this week, where things stand, and what's planned for next week.

Shared overview

Access to a board or document where you can always see what's open, what's done, and what we're waiting on.

Fast response

Questions in between? You get a direct answer. No ticket system you get lost in.

Ownership

You stay the owner of your store.

I work in your existing accounts and tools, not a separate system no one understands. Everything stays inside your environment.

I document every change so your team can repeat or adjust it later. You don't become dependent on me to find a button.

I discuss important decisions with you before I implement them. No surprises afterwards, no expensive correction rounds.

What this looks like in practice differs per project. In my case studies you can read what I actually did, in what order, and what came out of it — including the parts that took longer than planned.

Most projects start on one of two tracks: technical SEO when Google is the bottleneck, or Shopify build and migration when the platform itself is holding you back. Not sure which one applies to you? Tell me what is going on and I will say it honestly.

Not the right fit

Honesty upfront saves disappointment later.

  • You're looking for a big agency with account managers, strategists and executors in separate silos. I work alone and directly with you.
  • You want someone who only steers on ROAS, without looking at margin, inventory and operations. That broader view is exactly why my clients stay.
  • You expect a ready-made store within two weeks without having to do anything yourself. Speed is possible, but not at the cost of a foundation that collapses later.
  • You have an enterprise project with ten stakeholders and months of RFPs. That makes both of us slow.
  • You want to start dropshipping without a product or margin foundation. You need a good product and business model first, before you need a marketer.
  • You're only looking for a pair of hands without sparring. I think along, I ask questions, and sometimes I tell you something needs to be different.
No promises

What I never promise, and why.

I don't promise rankings, traffic or revenue. Not because I wouldn't want to, but because Google, your competitors and your own store determine those numbers. What I do promise is that I'll uncover and address the technical and operational causes of your bottlenecks.

I also don't promise that we can speed up the learning curve by adding more hours. Some things — a new channel, a new tool, a new team member — simply need time. More hours don't make that curve linearly shorter; they only make it more expensive.

What you do get: clarity on what's going on, a plan that respects your pace, and no sales talk.
