Shopify expert who builds your store
and makes it sell.

I'm Brandy — Shopify expert and e-commerce specialist. Want a Shopify store built, a custom theme developed or a migration from WooCommerce, Magento or Lightspeed? You work with me directly. No account manager in between.

  • One point of contact: me
  • Fixed scope, fixed price
  • Custom theme, no bloat
What I build

Shopify stores built from first launch to Plus.

Four types of engagement. Which one fits depends on where you are, not on what I'd like to sell.

A complete Shopify store

Custom theme, core pages, payments, shipping, email flows and tracking. Ready to sell, not just ready to look at.

Custom theme development

Already have a concept or brand identity? I build the theme around it: product pages, bundles, filters, variant logic and checkout flow tuned to your catalogue.

Migration to Shopify

WooCommerce, Magento, Lightspeed or custom platforms to Shopify (Plus). Including URL mapping, 301 redirects, structured data and customer, order and product data.

Shopify Plus & integrations

Plus implementations, B2B/wholesale, multi-store and connections to ERP, WMS, PIM or marketplaces. I'll also tell you when standard Shopify is plenty.

Migrating without losing rankings

A migration is an SEO project with a design component. Not the other way round.

Most ranking damage during a replatform comes from sloppy redirects and content that quietly disappears. So every migration I run starts with URLs, not with the theme.

01

Crawl & inventory

I crawl your current store, pull indexable URLs, traffic and link data, and decide which pages genuinely matter.

02

URL mapping & redirects

Every old URL gets a 301 destination up front. Categories, filters, blog posts and legacy product pages included — no bulk redirect to the homepage.

03

Content & schema moved over

Titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, internal links and structured data move across one-to-one, unless we deliberately improve them.

04

Launch & aftercare

After go-live I monitor indexing, crawl errors and Core Web Vitals in Search Console and resolve issues as they surface.

Two migrations, written up

What that looks like in practice.

Two stores I moved to Shopify. Both cases document the full process, including what went wrong.

Custom theme vs. off-the-shelf theme

Why I build a custom theme instead of bending a stock one.

A purchased theme is cheap right up to the moment you want something its author never considered. After that you pay the difference back in apps, workarounds and load time.

Speed
Code for a hundred use cases, three of which are yours. All of it loads.
Only the code your store uses. Less JavaScript, less render blocking.
Extending
Anything outside the settings panel becomes an app or a hack in the theme code.
New sections get built into the theme itself, in the same structure as the rest.
Apps
Stacks of apps for filters, bundles and reviews — each with its own scripts.
Native where possible, app where genuinely needed. Fewer subscriptions, fewer scripts.
Updates
A theme update overwrites your changes, or you stay stuck on an old version.
Version control in Git, so changes stay traceable and reversible.
Brand
Recognisable as a template. Your competitor often runs the same one.
Layout, typography and interactions follow your brand, not the theme author's.
What you get out of it

What you concretely keep from the engagement.

No promised percentages. But this — written into the scope.

A store you can manage yourself

Sections, blocks and content fields are set up so you can build and edit pages without me.

Full ownership of the code

The theme lives in your Shopify account and in a repository you own. No lock-in.

A technical base you can measure

Analytics, consent, e-commerce events and Search Console are configured and tested at handover.

A redirect plan you can verify

For migrations you get the complete URL mapping as a file, so you can check yourself what points where.

Documentation and handover

A short written guide plus a live walkthrough of the theme, the flows and the integrations.

A contact after go-live

I don't disappear on launch day. Questions and small corrections after handover are part of the engagement.

What it costs

Fixed scope, fixed price.

Three starting points. Final price depends on catalogue size, integrations and whether a migration is involved.

What does a Shopify webshop cost?

A Shopify build in the Netherlands realistically runs from a few thousand euros for a lean store on a well-configured standard theme, to a five-figure project for a custom theme with a migration, ERP integration and multi-language setup. The difference is almost never the design — it is the number of integrations, the size of your catalogue and whether existing URLs need to be preserved.

I always quote a fixed scope and a fixed price, so you know up front what is and is not included. On top of that come Shopify's own subscription, payment fees and any paid apps — I keep that list as short as possible, because every app is a monthly cost and a performance risk.

Frequently asked

Questions about having a Shopify store built.

What does a Shopify expert actually do?

+

A Shopify expert sets up your store technically and commercially: theme development, product structure, checkout, integrations, tracking and SEO. In my case I do that work myself instead of spreading it across a team.

What does it cost to have a Shopify store built?

+

My engagements start at €499 for a Basic build, €1,000 for a Medium build with a custom theme and €3,000+ for Expert/Plus. Migrations typically start around €1,500. You get a fixed price against a fixed scope.

How long does building a Shopify website take?

+

A Basic build takes roughly two weeks, a Medium build three to four, and an Expert/Plus engagement four to eight. Migrations take longer because URL mapping and data migration have to be finished up front.

Can I migrate from WooCommerce or Magento without losing rankings?

+

Preserving rankings is the starting point of every migration I run: complete URL mapping, 301 redirects, metadata and structured data carried over, and Search Console monitoring after go-live. I don't guarantee positions — Google decides those — but I remove the technical causes of loss.

Why not use a theme from the Shopify Theme Store?

+

For a first store with a small catalogue a stock theme can work fine, and I'll say so. Once you need specific variants, bundles, filters or B2B logic, a stock theme costs you more in apps and workarounds than a custom theme costs in build hours.

Do I own the theme code?

+

Yes. The theme sits in your Shopify account and in a repository in your name. You can continue with someone else at any time.

Do you keep working after launch?

+

Optional, not required. A build or migration can be a one-off. If you want ongoing work on conversion, ads and operations, we agree that separately.

Do you only work in the Netherlands?

+

I work with brands in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the wider EU. Communication in Dutch or English, billing in euros.
