Why is inventory management crucial for a webshop?

Out-of-stock kills every ad campaign and ranking. Too much stock ties up cash. Wrong stock per channel (web/marketplace) drives oversold orders and negative reviews. Solid inventory management is therefore not a back-office detail but a direct growth enabler: it sets how much marketing pressure you can safely push.

Which systems does Digitain integrate with Shopify?

We work with Sendcloud (shipping), Monta (3PL/fulfilment), Exact and Yuki (accounting), Picqer and Logic4 (WMS), Channable (feed management), and direct API integrations where stock apps fall short. Which combination is best depends on order volume, channels and how much you want to keep in-house.

When is a WMS worth it?

Roughly: from ~50–100 orders per day, or as soon as you sell across multiple channels (own webshop + bol + Amazon) where inventory must sync in real time. Below that volume Shopify + a strong 3PL integration often suffices. We advise before the pain — inventory chaos is expensive to fix after the fact.
